The official website for Shuka's Housekishou Richard-shi no Nazo Kantei (The Case Files of Jeweler Richard) revealed additional cast members, theme songs, and broadcast information through a new promotional video on Wednesday. An adaptation of Nanako Tsujimura's mystery light novel of the same name, the anime will premiere on January 9 at 11:30 p.m. on AT-X.
Joining the previously announced main cast are Kana Hanazawa (Bakemonogatari) as Seigi Nakata's classmate, Akiko Tanimoto, and Yuuichi Iguchi (Bokura wa Minna Kawai-sou) as Seigi's friend, Haruyoshi Shimomura.
Singer Nagi Yanagi will perform the series opening theme, "Houseki no Umareru Toki," with Da-iCE performing the ending theme, "Only for you."
Immediately following the broadcast premiere on AT-X, Housekishou Richard-shi no Nazo Kantei will air on Tokyo-MX and BS11. WOWOW will air the anime beginning January 15, and it will stream on dTV and GYAO! in Japan. The first three episodes will pre-screen on December 7 at the Edogawa Cultural Center.
Tarou Iwasaki (Isshuukan Friends) is leading the series as director, with Mariko Kunisawa (Handa-kun) penning the script. Natsuko Kondou (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san) will serve as the character designer and chief animation director, and Satoshi Motoyama (Little Busters!) is the sound director.
