
A Nico Live broadcast of BanG Dream! franchise on Monday has announced a spin-off anime featuring one of the units in the franchise, Pastel*Palettes. Titled Pastel Life, the slice-of-life series is yet to announce its type and broadcast details.

Created by Bushiroad, the Japanese media franchise began in January 2015 as a two-volume manga series written by Aya Ishida published under Monthly Bushiroad. It was then followed by multiple manga series, anime adaptations ranging from TV series to a special episode produced by studio Xebec and Issen, and web radios. Additionally, Craft Egg developed the BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! smartphone rhythm game that was launched in March last year.
Sentai Filmworks has licensed the TV anime series for North American distribution.
