Yousei Teikoku, the gothic metal band with anime theme song credits such as "Baptize" from Seikon no Qwaser and "Kuusou Mesorogiwi" from Mirai Nikki, was announced last month as a guest at the anime fan convention Otakon 2017 in Washington, DC. The five-member band will perform as part of Anisong World Matsuri, a two-day concert organized by music label Lantis to be held on August 11 and 12.
MyAnimeList has been given an opportunity to interview Empress Yui, the vocalist of Yousei Teikoku. Editors are accepting question submissions from MyAnimeList users and readers through Thursday, April 20, 23:59:59 PDT (GMT -7). Selected questions will be submitted to Lantis to be answered by Empress Yui herself in late April or early May.
