Light Novel 'Isekai Izakaya "Nobu"' Gets Anime Adaptation


The official Twitter account of Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! Editorial has revealed that light novel Isekai Izakaya "Nobu" will be getting an anime adaptation. The announcement will also be made in the bunkobon edition of the second volume, which is to be released on December 3.

Synopsis
There's an unique restaurant on the back alley of the old town Aiteria.
A young guard named Hans was taken to this restaurant by his coworker Nicolaus called Izakaya "Nobu."
When you slide open the wooden door, there are Nobu Taisho, the owner and Shinobu, the waitress.
The small interior of the restaurant is filled with mysterious feeling and it comes with gourmets that he has never seen or heard of before.
Also, the cold Ale—"Toriaezu Nama" is unexpectedly delicious!
The rumor spread and more and more customers visit here, among those include complicated matters...
This is a story that happens in Izakaya "Nobu" that's connected to an alternative world.

Isekai Izakaya "Nobu" is written by Natsuya Semikawa with illustrations by Kururi, and was originally serialized in the Shousetsuka ni Narou in October 2012, which later won the "Ni Narou Con Taishou" contest award from the website. The series has been publishing under the Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! Bunko imprint since September 2014 and currently has 4 volumes in print with the latest released on December 2015. It is also being published in bunkobon format since August 2016. A manga adaptation drawn by Virginia Nitouhei has been serialized in the Young Ace magazine since July 2015 with the second volume released on July 4, 2016.
