It was announced at Sunday's Arslan Senki (TV) event, Yasashuiin! Carnival, that the series will receive a new TV anime production in 2016.
The Arslan Senki TV series is an adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa's manga rendition of the semi-historical epic Arslan Senki by Yoshiki Tanaka. The novels were previously adapted into an OVA series between 1991 and 1995. The TV series ended its two-cours run in September 2015.
