
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Miko Yasu's Hakozume: Kouban Joshi no Gyakushuu (Police in a Pod) manga revealed on Friday supporting cast, additional staff members, theme song artists, and its first promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2022.

J-pop singer Riko Azuna (Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka?) is performing the opening theme "Shiranakya," and nonoc (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season) will perform the ending theme "Change."
Yuuzou Satou (Gyakkyou Burai Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor) helms the anime at Madhouse, and Ryuunosuke Kingetsu (Ulysses: Jehanne Darc to Renkin no Kishi) is handling the series composition. Kei Tsuchiya (Laidbackers) is designing the characters.
Yasu began serializing the slice of life police manga in Morning magazine in November 2017. Kodansha shipped the 18th volume on August 23. Kodansha USA licensed the manga digitally in English on May 27 and will publish the sixth volume on November 9.
