The official website for the fifth season of Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia) revealed five new cast members for the season's second cours on Saturday. The show will continue airing with the 15th episode on July 10.

Alternative pop band MAN WITH A MISSION (Vinland Saga) is performing the new opening theme "Merry-Go-Round". Soushi Sakiyama (2.43: Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley Bu) is performing the new ending theme "Uso ja nai".
Produced by Bones, the first television anime aired in 13 episodes in Spring 2016. The consecutive seasons premiered in Spring 2017, Spring 2018, and Fall 2019, respectively—each running for 25 episodes. The fifth season premiered in Japan on March 27. Funimation is streaming the series both in English subtitles and dub.
