The official website for the television anime adaptation of Hirotsugu Ryuusen's Kenja no Deshi wo Nanoru Kenja (She Professed Herself the Pupil of the Wise Man) light novel announced two supporting cast members on Friday. The anime will premiere in 2021.
Keitarou Motonaga (Utawarerumono: Itsuwari no Kamen) is helming the anime at Studio A-CAT. Takamitsu Kouno (Absolute Duo) is in charge of the series composition and Kumi Horii (Soukou Musume Senki) is designing the characters. Gou Sakabe (Date A Live) is composing the music. Voice actress Nichika Oomori (Darwin's Game) is starring as the protagonist, Mira.
Ryuusen began penning the fantasy adventure novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in April 2012. Micro Magazine began printing the series in June 2014, featuring illustrations by Choko Fuji. The 14th volume shipped last November.
