Studio Fanworks has announced that its anime adaptation of Ling You's web manhua Ani ni Tsukeru Kusuri wa Nai! will get a third season. Spanning across 12-episodes, the new season will adapt chapters from the manhua and also feature original stories. The series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan on October 7 on Tokyo MX1 at 9:54 p.m. It will also be streamed on Tencent in China in August.
Cast members will reprise their roles, and Rareko (Gakkatsu!, Aggressive Retsuko (ONA)) will reprise his role as director and scriptwriter.
You has been publishing Ani ni Tsukeru Kusuri wa Nai! on the Kuaikan Manhua website since 2014. The first 12-episode season was aired in Spring 2017 and was followed by a 24-episode second season in Summer 2018.
