Voice Actress Haruna Ikezawa Announces Marriage


Voice actress Haruna Ikezawa announced her marriage on her official Twitter account on Wednesday.

In a statement, Ikezawa wrote that her husband was Japanese and explained that she thought about announcing it earlier, but had a difficult time because he was unable to return to Japan due to COVID-19. She also added that she has not changed much personally, and intends to spend her time reading, eating, travelling, and writing. Ikezawa concluded by thanking her fans for their continued support.

Ikezawa was born in December 1975 in Athens, Greece, but was raised in Kanagawa. She began her voice acting career in 1996 with Bakusou Kyoudai Let's & Go as Seiba Gou. She also voiced Yoshino Shimazu in Maria-sama ga Miteru and Momoka Nishizawa in Keroro Gunsou.

After 11 years with the agency, Ikezawa left Oscar Promotions in 2014 and moved to Across Entertainment. She was also part of the voice actress group More Peach Summer alongside Chiwa Saito, Mamiko Noto, and Ryou Hirohashi.
