TV Anime 'Super Cub' Announces Cast and Additional Staff


The official website for Studio Kai's anime adaptation of Super Cub announced its main cast and additional staff members on Friday. The series' first promotional video and key visual (pictured) were also released in addition to that.

Staff members that were announced in November include director Toshirou Fujii (18if) as well as Toshizou Nemoto (Inu x Boku SS), who will be tasked with the series composition and screenplay. The series also features character designs by Tooru Imanishi (Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii Desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii Desu ka?).

Super Cub aims to adapt the light novel of the same name written by Tone Kouken. The novel has been published through Kadokawa's Sneaker Bunko imprint since May 2017 and features illustrations by Hiro. Its sixth volume was released both in print and digitally in December.

A manga adaptation by Kanitan was launched through Comic Newtype magazine in December 2017. The fourth compiled volume was released on March 10.
