Singer LiSA announced her marriage to voice actor Tatsuhisa Suzuki via her official website and Instagram on Wednesday. Suzuki's agency, I'm Enterprise, also reported the news. In LiSA's message on Instagram, she said she will continue to deliver the best music and the best live performances.
LiSA's career began as the vocalist for the independent punk rock band, Chucky, in 2005. Her breakout performance as one of the two vocalists in Girls Dead Monster, the fictional band from Angel Beats!, led to a successful career as an individual artist. She has performed over a dozen openings and endings for anime films and television, including for the aforementioned Angel Beats!, the Sword Art Online series, the opening for Fate/Zero, and the opening for last year's Kimetsu no Yaiba—for which she also featured in the ending theme. Since 2011, she has released four full-length albums, most recently LiTTLE DEViL PARADE on May 24, 2017, which peaked at fourth on the Oricon Albums Chart.
Suzuki is a prolific voice actor who debuted in 2003 and is known for his roles as Makoto Tachibana in Free!, Hiroomi Nase in Kyoukai no Kanata, and Kazunari Takao in Kuroko no Basket. He is also the vocalist for the band OLDCODEX under the alias Ta_2.
