
The official website of the Plunderer anime series revealed the lead cast members, additional staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and the first promotional on Friday. The anime adaptation of Suu Minazuki's action fantasy manga will begin airing in January 2020.
Yoshiki Nakajima (Hinamatsuri) and Rina Honnizumi (Hug tto! Precure) will voice Licht Bach and Hina—the series' protagonists—respectively.

Hiroyuki Kanbe (Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai) is directing the television anime at GEEKTOYS, with Masashi Suzuki (Rail Wars!, Isuca) in charge of series composition. Yuka Takashina (Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha.), Yuuki Fukuchi (Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata ♭ chief animation director), and Hiroki Fukuda (Persona 5 the Animation animation director) are all credited for character design.
Minazuki launched Plunderer in Shounen Ace in December 2014, nine months after ending his Sora no Otoshimono manga in the same magazine. Kadokawa published the 12th volume on March 26, with the 13th volumes scheduled for a July 26 release.
Yen Press licensed the manga in English last year and published the first volume on March 26. The second volume will go on sale on August 20.
