The anime is scheduled to premiere on January 9 at 2:25 a.m. on MBS and TBS, followed by BS-TBS and AT-X.

Kenta Ihara (Shinchou Yuusha: Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tueee Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru) is handling the series composition, and Yuuya Uetake (Toaru Majutsu no Index III key animation) is designing the characters.
Seto began penning the adventure fantasy light novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2017. Kodansha began publishing the series with illustrations by Note Takehana under its K Lanobe Books label in August that year and shipped the fifth volume on March 2.
