The official website for Boku no Hero Academia the Movie 2: Heroes:Rising announced two new characters and their cast, and revealed a new trailer and visual. The trailer features the movie's theme song, "Higher Ground" by sumika.
Tomoyo Kurosawa (Hibike! Euphonium) was cast as Mahoro, and Yuka Terasaki (Chihayafuru) will voice her little brother, Katsuma. The film's protagonists will encounter the siblings on Nabutou, the island where a majority of the film is said to take place.
Boku no Hero Academia the Movie 2: Heroes:Rising is set to premiere on December 20, 2019.
