High School Fleet' Anime Film Reveals Additional Cast



The official website of the High School Fleet anime revealed additional cast members, a second key visual (pictured above), and the theme song performer for the anime film on Thursday. The film will open in Japan on January 18, 2020.

Toumi Miyazato: Minami Takahashi (Asagao to Kase-san.)
Shia Nomura: Maria Naganawa (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon)
Azumi Abe: Tomori Kusunoki (Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online)
Tsubame Kawano: Satomi Amano (Cinderella Girls Gekijou: Kayou Cinderella Theater 4th Season)
Sachiho Chiba: Miyu Tomita (Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai)
Keiko Nogiwa: Sayumi Suzushiro (High Score Girl)



Anisong trio TrySail, comprised of Momo Asakura, Sora Amamiya, and Shiina Natsukawa, will perform the theme song.

Jun Nakagawa (Demi-chan wa Kataritai episode director) is helming the film at A-1 Pictures, with Yuu Nobuta returning as the chief director. Takaaki Suzuki (High School Fleet original creator) and Kunihiko Okada (Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm) are also returning as scriptwriters. Character designer and chief animation director Naoto Nakamura will once again reprise his role.

The original 12-episode anime series by Production IMS, based on Takaaki Suzuki's (Last Exile: Ginyoku no Fam script) original concept, aired in Spring 2016. Aniplex of America licensed the anime and simultaneously streamed it on Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Daisuki. A two-part original video anime sequel was released on Blu-ray and DVD in May 2017.
