The official website of the television anime adaptation of HiRock and Shinya Komi's Ex-Arm manga revealed additional cast and the ending theme on Saturday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2021.

Pop-punk band Dizzy Sunfist is performing the ending theme "Diamonds Shine."
Yoshikatsu Kimura (KG Karate Girl live-action film) is helming the anime at studio Visual Flight. Tommy Morton is credited for the series composition, and Hajime Kimura (F-Zero X video game OST) is composing the music.
Komi and HiRock serialized the action sci-fi manga in Grand Jump from February 2015 to November 2017, then transitioned to the online platform Shounen Jump+ in December 2017. The series concluded with its 98th chapter in June 2019. A sequel manga, titled Ex-Arm Ex, began serialization in Grand Jump in August 2019.
