The first six cast members were introduced for the previously announced Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na! (Hands off the Motion Pictures Club!), the television anime adaptation of Sumito Oowara's manga of the same name, on Friday. In addition to announcing the cast, the official website also released designs for the three main characters.

Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na! will be directed by Masaaki Yuasa and produced by his studio, Science SARU. Taichi Ooru, who teamed up with Yuasa on Yoake Tsugeru Lu no Uta, will compose the soundtrack, and Naoyuki Asano will adapt the character designs for animation. The anime is scheduled to premiere on NHK General in January 2020.
A live-action film starring Nogizaka46 members Mizuki Yamashita, Asuka Saitou, and Minami Umezawa will open in Japan in Summer 2020.
