
The official website of the Kuutei Dragons (Drifting Dragons) television anime announced four additional cast members on Monday. Fuji TV also released a promotional video featuring the beginning of the first episode. The series premiered on January 9 at 12:55 a.m. on Fuji TV's +Ultra programming block, and Netflix is streaming the show.

Furthermore, voice actor Tomoaki Maeno, who is playing the character Mika, and chef Hiroshi Modegi will appear in a web program called "Mika's Kitchen," in which Maeno and Modegi are challenged to recreate recipes featured in Kuutei Dragons. The program will be released weekly on the anime's official Twitter and Fuji TV's +Ultra YouTube channel and run for 12 episodes. The first episode debuted on Wednesday.
Tadahiro Yoshihira (Sidonia no Kishi: Daikyuu Wakusei Seneki assistant director) is directing the anime at Polygon Pictures. Makoto Uezu (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) is handling the screenplay and series composition, and Kyouko Kotani (Trinity Seven chief animation director) is designing the characters.
