
The official website of Shin Sakura Taisen the Animation revealed three more cast members on Wednesday who will comprise the Moscow Assault Force. More staff, a new promotional video, and key visual (pictured) were also released. The series will premiere in April 2020.

Layla: Haruka Shiraishi (Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai)
The main cast members comprising the Flower Division of Tokyo's Imperial Assault Force will reprise their roles from the Shin Sakura video game franchise. Voice actors include Ayane Sakura (5-toubun no Hanayome) as Sakura Amamiya, Hibiku Yamamura (Anne Happy♪) as Azami Mochizuki, and Ayaka Fukuhara (The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls) as Anastasia Palma.

Manabu Ono (Sword Art Online: Alicization) is directing the series at SANZIGEN. He is also working on series composition alongside Tatsuhiko Urahata (Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon).
Shin Sakura Taisen the Animation is based on Sega's Sakura Taisen video game franchise. The sixth game in the series, Shin Sakura Taisen, serves as a soft reboot of the series and was released in Japan in December 2019. It is scheduled for release in North America and Europe in Spring 2020. The franchise has inspired several anime adaptations including a television anime, anime film, and multiple original video animations.
