2.43: Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu' Reveals Additional Cast [Update 12/16]


The official Twitter account for the TV anime adaptation of Yukako Kabei's 2.43: Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu (2.43: Seiin High School Boys Volleyball Club) novel series has revealed additional cast members individually since November 12, with the latest revealed on Thursday. 2.43: Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu will air on Fuji TV's noitaminA programming block on Fridays beginning January 8 at 12:55 a.m.

Fukuhou Technical High School
Tomoki Kakegawa (setter): Shun Horie (Akudama Drive)
Kohei Tokura (wing spiker): Genki Okawa (B-Project: Kodou*Ambitious)
Issei Asamatsu (middle blocker): Kaito Takeda (Ahiru no Sora)
Keita Yanome (wing spiker): Shou Nogami (Tsukipro The Animation)
Ryudai Jinno (relief server): Takuya Eguchi (Given)
Yuhi Sawatari (libero): Kento Shiraishi (Yowamushi Pedal: New Generation)

The main cast and staff were announced in June. The Seiin High School volleyball team stars Kensho Ono (Kuroko no Basket) as the setter, Kimichika Haijima, and Junya Enoki (Dorohedoro) as the wing spiker, Yuni Kuroba. Kaito Ishikawa (Haikyuu!!) and Kouhei Amasaki (Boku no Hero Academia 2nd Season) lead the rival Fukuhou Technical High School as wing spiker Subaru Mimura and team manager Mitsuomi Ochi, respectively.

Yasuhiro Kimura (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 5: Ougon no Kaze) is directing the anime at David Production. Yuuichi Takahashi (Hoshiai no Sora) is the chief animation director and character designer, and Yousuke Kuroda (Boku no Hero Academia) is credited with series composition.

Update December 16
The official Twitter account for the 2.43: Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu TV anime revealed an additional voice actor and his character on Monday, December 14. Kenjirou Abekawa (Bem) will play Jungo Takasugi, a third-year middle blocker for Fukuhou Technical High School.
