Seiyuu Masumi Asano Announces Marriage With Mangaka Kenjirou Hata



Seiyuu Masumi Asano has announced via her radio show Weekly Moneyland with an accountant Shinya Yamada on Monday that she has been married to mangaka Kenjirou Hata for a while. Asano voiced Risa Asakaze in anime adaptations of Hayate no Gotoku, which is drawn by Hata. They also published Sore ga Seiyuu together, which received an anime adaptation in Summer 2015. She asked fans to continue supporting both of them and especially Hata due to his previously announced and upcoming series Tonikaku Kawaii, which start publishing this week in this year's 12th issue of Weekly Shounen Sunday.

Aside from her role in Hayate no Gotoku, Asano voiced Hakufu Sonsaku from the Ikkitousen series, Flower from the Kowarekake no Orgel series, Minami Kaidou from the Go! Princess Precure series, and more. She is also a writer.
