The Cygames booth at this year's Anime Expo convention announced an original anime titled Zombieland Saga on Thursday. The production is jointly being led by animation studio MAPPA, production company Avex Pictures, and mobile game developer Cygames.

Described as a "new twist on the zombie genre," the anime is scheduled to air from October 2018.
