New cast members for the Ikkitousen franchise's new anime entry Western Wolves were revealed in a promotional video posted by Media Factory on Friday. All of the cast members will reprise their roles, except for Yui Horie, who will be replaced by Ayaka Ohashi (Akame ga Kill!) for the role of Chuubou Sonken. In addition, a new key visual was revealed.

The OVA, consisting of three episodes, will ship on Blu-ray and DVD on February 27. The episodes will be broadcast via AT-X and the first episode will air on January 3, followed by episode two and three in February and March, respectively.

Ikkitousen is based on the manga by Yuji Shiozaki. Takashi Watanabe, who directed the 2003 TV anime, will serve as chief director and Mitsutoshi Satou (Shokugeki no Souma assistant director) will direct the new series at studio Arms.
