The official website of the Mahou Shoujo Tokushusen Asuka (Magical Girl Special Ops Asuka) anime series revealed additional cast members on Tuesday. Directed by Hideyo Yamamoto (Strike the Blood) at LIDENFILMS, the anime will air in January 2019.

The magic action manga by Makoto Fukami and Seigo Tokiya began serializing in monthly Big Gangan magazine in June 2015. Square Enix published the eighth compiled volume on June 25.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English last November and released the third volume on Tuesday.
