The official Twitter account for the Japanese TV broadcast of Shiyan Pin Jiating anime has announced the first set of cast members. More cast members will be announced at a later time. The anime will broadcast in Japan in Spring 2018.

The manga is also currently published in Japanese via Shinchosha's Comic@Bunch web as Jikkenhin Kazoku: Creatures Family Days, the same title as the upcoming Japanese TV broadcast, since October 2017 and currently has two chapters released.
