
The official Twitter account of the currently airing 3-gatsu no Lion 2nd Season has announced that following the broadcast of episode 16 on February 3, the succeeding episode will air on March 3. The three-week break after the initially scheduled broadcast is due to the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics to air at NHK G.
3-gatsu no Lion is a manga series written by Chika Umino that began serialization under Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine since July 13, 2007. It has released 13 compiled manga volumes, with the latest shipped on September 27, 2017, and was recently ranked 24th of last year's Japan's Yearly Manga and Light Novel Rankings for accumulating 728,376 volume sales.
Studio Shaft animates the adaptation since the first season that aired for 22 episodes from October 2016 to March 2017. The second season premiered on October 14, 2017, and is also listed for 22 episodes.
Both seasons of the anime are licensed for North American distribution with English dub casting by Aniplex USA. The first Blu-ray volume was released in December last year.
