
Seiyuu Nobuyuki Furuta has died on Tuesday night from a ruptured aneurysm. He was 59 years old. The funeral will be held on Sunday morning on September 3 by his wife, as well as fellow seiyuu and president of Kenyuu Office Kenyuu Horiuchi.
Furuta voiced supporting characters such as Sakyou from Yuu☆Yuu☆Hakusho, Kudou from Touch, and more. He also voiced the Japanese dub of Matt Parkman from the American television drama Heroes and was a mixed martial arts announcer with Fighting Network Rings.
