Seiyuu Mari Nakatsu has announced via her blog on Friday that she has been married to a man not from the industry, but once an actor who used to be in the same agency. She further explained that her manager scouted him and that both of them acted as a couple in a CM when they were sixteen years old, as well as other CMs together. She was happy when he, once a cute boy but now a mature guy, proposed to her because she can sense he's a kind man. The manager and their family were surprised that the two of them who were friends would get married. She mentioned that she would like to continue working as a seiyuu under her pace.
Born as Mariko Nakatsu, she voiced Erika Takato from Ginga e Kickoff, Nanami Aoyama from Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo, as well as some minor roles in some well known anime. She was also part of Princess Kettsu with fellow seiyuu Akina and Mako Morino from June 2013 to July 2014, after which the unit disbanded.
