The official website of Monster Strike net anime has announced that its second season will receive a new part titled Kieyuku Uchuu-hen (Disappearing Space Arc), which will premiere on October 7.
The anime series adapts the Monster Strike smartphone game, which debuted in Fall 2015. A prequel movie, Hajimari no Basho e, premiered in Japanese theaters in December 2016. The second season, Monsuto Anime Zenpen, started this Spring and has ended on Saturday. A prequel episode to the second season, Katsubou no Hate no Risoukyou, a special streamed in May titled Senritsu no Lucifer, Tada Hitotsu no Hajimari no Uta, and a five-episode spin-off series about D'Artagnan titled Monster Sonic! D'Artagnan no Idol Sengen were also available during the streaming of the second season.
