
Media Works Bunko has opened a special page to announce that novel series Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens (Hakata Pig Bone Ramen) will get a TV anime adaptation. The anime adaptation has announced to celebrate 25th Anniversary of Dengeki.
Synopsis
In a city known as Fukuoka, crime exists in the underworld from a seemingly peaceful surface. In the Hakata ward of the city, there are various individuals with special talent that consists of professional killers, detectives, informants, and professional revenge seekers. Furthermore, according to an urban legend, an individual known as "killer of professional killers" has shown up in the city. (Source: ANN, edited)
Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens is written by Chiaki Kisaki with illustrations by Hako Ichiiro, and has been publishing under Kadokawa's Media Works Bunko imprint since February 2014. The novel currently has six volumes in print, with the seventh volume to be released on July 25. A manga adaptation drawn by Kisara Akino has been serialized in GFantasy magazine since July 2016. The second and last volume of the manga will also be published on July 25. The series won Grand Prize at the 20th Dengeki Novel Awards alongside Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho in 2013.
