
The 42nd issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shounen Sunday has announced that Hiroshi Fukuda's Joujuu Senjin!! Mushibugyou will end in its 43rd issue of the magazine, which will be released on September 20.
Mushibugyou was originally serialized in Shounen Sunday Super between August 2009 and September 2010, and collected into three compiled volumes. The new Joujuu Senjin!! Mushibugyou manga began its serialization via Shounen Sunday in January 2011, retelling the story of the original manga series. The series currently has 30 volumes in print, with the 31st volume scheduled for release on September 15. A 26-episode TV anime by Seven Arcs Pictures aired in Spring 2013, with three OVA episodes released between June 2014 and January 2015.
