This year's 47th issue of Young Jump magazine has announced on Thursday that SankakuHead's Himouto! Umaru-chan manga will end in three chapters, with the final chapter to be released in the 50th issue of the magazine on November 9. A follow-up announcement will also be made on the same issue.
Himouto! Umaru-chan began its serialization in March 2013, and currently has 11 compiled volumes in print, with the latest released on September 19. A 12-episode TV anime by Doga Kobo aired in Summer 2015. The second season of the anime debuted on October 8. Two OVA episodes were bundled with the manga's seventh and tenth volumes in October 2015 and April 2017.
