4-koma Manga 'Comic Girls' Gets TV Anime


According to the cover of the August 2017 issue of Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara MAX magazine, which will be released on June 19, Kaori Hanzawa's comedy manga Comic Girls will receive a TV anime adaptation.

The 4-koma slice-of-life manga began its serialization in March 2014. The series currently has two compiled volumes in print, with the third volume to be released on June 27. The manga revolves around the daily life of the 15-year old up-and-coming female mangaka named Kaoruko Moeta in a dormitory with fellow professional manga artists from shoujo and shounen magazines.
