
The official website of the Summer 2016 anime Battery, an adaptation of the baseball novel series by Atsuko Asano, has announced two more voice cast members. A new key visual drawn by mangaka Takako Shimura (pictured) featuring the series lead characters was also revealed on the official website.
Battery is scheduled to begin airing on Fuji Television's noitaminA programming block on July 15 at 12:55 a.m. The first two episodes of the series will be screened at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku on June 26 in back-to-back events that will include a talk segment by the voice cast members.
Amazon Prime will stream the series worldwide, with the first episode being made available 25 hours ahead of Fuji Television to viewers in Japan. Subsequent episodes will be posted at 3:00 a.m. following every Fuji Television broadcast.
