MyAnimeList announced on Monday that it is providing users access to a recording of the 10th Seiyuu Awards ceremony, which was held in Tokyo last month. The announcement is part of a continuing cooperation with streaming content provider DAISUKI to provide MyAnimeList users direct access to anime and related content from Japan.
The two-hour ceremony with acceptance speeches by the award winners was originally streamed live by the Chou! A&G+ radio station. In previous years, winners of the Seiyuu Awards were revealed ahead of the ceremonies, and the tenth edition marked the first time the main awards winners were not announced in advance. Highlights include performances by idol groups i☆Ris and AOP and tributes to seiyuu Miyu Matsuki, who died last October.
DAISUKI began streaming the ceremony on its website on April 15 with English and Traditional Chinese subtitles, and the recording is accessible worldwide except in Japan and China.
