Model Kit Series 'Frame Arms Girl' Gets Anime Adaptation



At the Anime Festival Asia event in Singapore on Friday, it was announced that Kotobukiya's model kit series Frame Arms Girl will get an anime adaptation in 2017. The anime will feature the kit series’ first model character Gourai, as well as Stylet and Baselard. A drama CD for the series has also been announced, which will be released on March 24, 2017. A manga adaptation titled Frame Arms Girl: Lab Days with illustrations by Tsuneo Tsuneishi and editorial supervision by Hitomi Mieno (aka. Deko Akao) will begin its serialization in the February 2017 issue of Comp Ace magazine, to be released on December 26, 2016.

Frame Arms is a series of plastic robot model kit developed by Kotobukiya with designs by Takayuki Yanase (Rakuen Tsuihou: Expelled from Paradise). Unveiled in 2015, the models in the new Frame Arms Girl series are designed by Humikane Shimada (Girls und Panzer), featuring robot models from the Frame Arms series remade as girls. A short anime bundled with the "Frame Arms Versus Set Zelfikar vs. Hresvelgr=Ater" kit was released by Kotobukiya in May 2015.
