It was announced at the "Naruto x Boruto" stage event at Jump Festa 2017 that the Naruto spin-off manga Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will receive a TV anime in April 2017. The main cast members will be reprising their roles from the sequel movie to Naruto Shippuuden.
Synopsis
Naruto was a young shinobi with an incorrigible knack for mischief. He achieved his dream to become the greatest ninja in the village and his face sits atop the Hokage monument. Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is written by Ukyou Kodachi with illustrations by Mikio Ikemoto and has been serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump since May 2016. Shueisha published the second compiled volume on December 2, and the manga currently has over 1,000,000 copies in print.
