Final Episodes of 'Long Riders' to be Delayed

The official website of Long Riders has announced that the regular broadcast for the series, which will end on December 24, will only air the first ten episodes of the show. The two final episodes, titled Night Land-hen and Shimanami Kaidou-hen, respectively, will be delayed until February 5, 2017 and will air on AT-X during their back-to-back anime broadcast. The schedule on other channels regarding the episodes will be announced at a later time. A pre-screening event for both episodes will also be held on February 4, 2017 in Tokyo prefecture, as well as in Hiroshima and Onomichi near Shimanami Kaidou, where the setting for the twelfth episode will take place.

Long Riders is a slice of life sports manga drawn by Taishi Miyake. The anime is currently animated by studio Actas and premiered earlier this Fall. Episodes three and five were also subjects of delay. The series is licensed for North American release by Sentai Filmworks and is currently simulcast by Anime Network Online and Daisuki in various regions.
