The official website of Cheer Danshi!! has announced that there will be two OVAs included in the fourth Blu-ray and DVD volume of the anime, releasing on December 22, 2016. Titled "Iro-iro Danshi" and "Kantan!! Cheer Danshi to Issho ni Up Dance," the episodes will be four minutes and nineteen minutes long, respectively.
Cheer Danshi!! aired in Summer 2016, and is an anime adaptation of Ryou Asai's novel by the same title. Two manga adaptations drawn by Ayaka Matsumoto and Keiichi Kondou were released from 2011 to 2013 and 2016, respectively. The first manga adaptation has been published in four volumes and the second manga adaptation was collected in a total of two compiled volumes.
