
The official Twitter account of game developer HolicWorks announced that BL visual novel Taishou Mebiusline will be receiving a TV anime in 2017. Tentatively titled Taishou Chicchai-san, each episode of the anime will be 5 minutes long. A key visual featuring the protagonist Kyouichirou Hiiragi in both normal and chibi form has also been revealed.
The story takes place in the Taishou era (1912~1926), centering on Kyouichirou Hiiragi who travels to the capital to join Japan's army during their wars with foreign countries. However, he finds the military's thirst for power to threaten to consume even his life… (Source: VNDB, edited)
The BL visual novel was released via LoveDelivery label on December 21, 2012 for Windows platform. A PlayStation Portable version was released on February 27, 2014 via Dramatic Create. A picture novel began its serialization via Papyless on April 27, 2015 and PlayStation Vita version was released on January 28, 2016. A fan disc titled Taishou Mebiusline: Teito Bibouroku was also released on December 18, 2015.
