The official website of the Summer 2016 anime Cheer Danshi!! has announced additional cast and staff members for the series. The newly announced characters are the captain and a rookie from the opposing cheerleading team "Sparks," respectively.
A new key visual (pictured) for the series, an adaptation of a novel by Ryou Asai, was also unveiled on the official website. Cheer Danshi!! will begin airing on July 5 at 11:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by airings on Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, TV Aichi, and BS11.
