The singer announced via the official blog of her band Flower Flower that she has married a man outside of the industry and is currently pregnant.
Yui, often stylized as YUI, debuted as a solo singer in 2004 and was active until 2012. She then formed the band Flower Flower in 2013 and performed incognito throughout Japan.
Yui composed and performed theme songs for the anime Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Bleach.
