Season Finale of 'Kekkai Sensen' Delayed

It was announced via its official site that the final episode of Kekkai Sensen, to be broadcast on July 4, has been postponed until further notice. The production committee reasoned that the final episode would require more than the scheduled 30 minute time slot. A program related to Kekkai Sensen will air in its place.

The twelfth and final episode was originally scheduled to air on June 27, but was moved to July 4 due to a delay in one of its episodes in early June.

Kekkai Sensen was adapted to a TV anime for Spring 2015 by studio Bones, based on the manga by Yasuhiro Nightow. Its first Blu-ray and DVD volumes were released on June 17, and sold 12,171 and 4,784 copies, respectively, in the first week on Oricon's weekly rankings.

The official website and Twitter will be updated once the broadcast is decided.
