A scan of the upcoming issue of Jump SQ magazine, to be released on August 4, revealed that an original anime special for Owari no Seraph will be shown at this year's Jump Festa Anime tour.
The Jump Festa Anime tour event will be held in nine different cities across Japan from November 3–15. Series that are serialized in the Shounen Jump magazines will receive anime screenings throughout the event.
Owari no Seraph is written by Takaya Kagami and illustrated by Yamato Yamamoto. It began serialization in Jump SQ magazine in September 2012. The manga ranked 20th during the first half of Japan's yearly manga and light novel rankings for 2015. Viz Media licensed Owari no Seraph for North American release and titled the series Seraph of the End. The first volume of the English release ranked 9th in the NY Times Best Seller List for June 28 - July 4.
A split-cours TV adaptation began airing in Spring 2015, with the second cours airing this Fall.
