Fourth Season of 'Uta no☆Prince-sama♪' Announced


Uta no☆Prince-sama♪'s official Twitter announced that the anime series will receive a fourth season. More information will be announced later.

The series' third season aired in Spring 2015, and the last episode was broadcast on June 28. Four days earlier, the single Evolution Eve by Quartet Night (Reiji Kotobuki, Ai Mikaze, Ranmaru Kurosaki, Camus) was released, and it ranked 3rd in its first week on Oricon's Weekly CD chart. A piano book has also been announced and is expected to be released on August 10. Among other songs, it will contain sheet music for the newly released single and the third season's ending theme, Maji Love Revolutions.

Based on the original otome game developed by Nippon Ichi and released on the PlayStation Portable in 2010, Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ received its first TV anime adaptation by A-1 Pictures in Summer 2011, followed by a second season in Spring 2013. In addition to the anime, the story has also been adapted into two manga series. The anime franchise is currently licensed by Sentai Filmworks in North America.
